New England's Asset Condition Reviewer: What the $25 Million Threshold Will and Will Not Catch

FERC accepted ISO-NE's Asset Condition Reviewer on 16 October, effective 1 January 2027. New England owners expect about $5 billion of asset condition spending through 2034, and $1.3 billion of it next year alone. The review is advisory, and its thresholds decide how much of that spending is ever looked at.
